Our Events
CDCSG host many events throughout the year to connect our Defence community. We aim to cater for all family dynamics, and meet the needs of our members in a contemporary way of supports.
We have regular events over each month on rotation, some of which include:

Coffee, Chat & Play
We catch up weekly for a coffee, chat & play! Great coffee, great food and great company – plus a large children’s play area to keep them entertained whilst the adults chat.
We like to explore different locations so the venues change from time to time.

Little Dandelions Playgroup
A safe space for children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers to participate in a range of social and creative activities.
📅 Tuesdays 0930am-1130am
🫖Tea and coffee provided.
☕Barista made coffee available.

Walk, talk, jog or run. Everyone can go at their own pace!
Dog, Pram & toddler friendly.

• I can’t thank the CDCSG committee enough for offering a Social Netball game every Tuesday evening. This has formed lifelong Friendships between both Army and Navy spouses as well as serving members. It’s also been a fun way of keeping and staying fit with lots of laughs on and off the court. • My daughter and i attended a Make-up Master Class ran by the lovely Tamsin Smith and facilitated by the CDCSG Coordinator Belinda. In a little over 3 hours she showed us more about make-up than we had accumulated in our own life spans. Not only was she an amazing teacher but she gave us tips and tricks to save a fortune on make-up! By the end we all felt confident to be able to go home and re create the make-up looks using our own make-up kits at home. I felt like i was on the right track and will never forget the valuable lessons learnt! Thank you Tamsin and Belinda!
• I really enjoyed the Terrarium building workshop! It was great to meet and mingle with other members, while also learning how to create a beautiful terrarium. Mine is still alive to this day! Thanks for organising such an awesome day and I can't wait to attend more events like this in the future :) — Marsha
